For those new to the scene, whether you have playing at home, always been curious, or just want to get to know if it’s right for you we suggest taking part in many of the various educational seminars that are put one by the various organizations, many of which are located on our resources page.
There are many good books out about how to have fun safely with fetishes and bdsm as well. A little reading and the support of fellow experienced practitioners can go a long way toward ensuring continued safe fun in your future!
We have included here some additional information that may be of use to you as well, including some basic information about safety, a bdsm scene checklist, a consent worksheet to make sure you and your partner are on the same page, some basic guidelines to dungeon etiquette, and some ideas about role playing.
